Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Hotel is in a very good location for public transport. Room a bit outdated but had all the facilities. Hotel is very clean.

Very clean and tidy rooms with good aircon, showers, coffee/tea facilities. Air temperature in rooms were cool and comfortable with no need for air on most of the time for me. Pillows were a bit too high for my liking but I overcame that by using my own borrowed from my family close by. Very close to Tiong Bahru market and range of local shops and restaurants. Also close to bus stops and Metro only 10 mins walk away.

Excellent Service and impressively kind Staff. If you want to visit the Megacity Singapore and still have an atmosphere where you feel welcome and family-like, you should stay at Nostalgia. The pool refreshs you after a long day of working. Rooms are very clean and service is done everyday - but just if you want, Nostalgia takes care of the environment and avoid e.g. new sheets when it is not needed.

The location is great with easy transport links into the centre. The hotel roof top pool was ok but not the cleanest. The hotel lobby and lift has an artificial perfumed smell pumped throughout which I found unbearable and had to avoid this area. We chose not to have our room serviced for fear this smell would increase in our room as it did in the mornings. The room was tiny and not suitable for two adults. We never unpacked as there wasn’t enough space. The air conditioning until blew out into your face at night so I slept the other way round to manage this. Not a relaxing place to be unfortunately.

Hotel Nostalgia is a really comfortable hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood. Very good area to walk around in. It is a really good base as there is an MRT station (Havelock) just 5 mins away as well as bus stops nearby. The Tiong Bahru Market (Hawker style) is fantastic - didnt stay long enough to try all the good food. The staff was friendly and happy to help. The room we got is compact bit everything we needed was there. Just a minor suggestion - having an ice maker (even a centrally located one) would be really appreciated. Otherwise all good . Did I mention that there are so many good places to eat in the area?!?
